Gut Check (Moving Forward)

"Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping..." Romans 4:18

Was reading this chapter on faith today and really just saw this scripture as one of those gut check scriptures. A gut check in life asks these questiona "Do you have what it takes?" "Is this true of you"

Fill in the blank with your name below.

"Even when there was no reason for hope, _____________ kept hoping..."

Is this true of you? "Is this what you are really made of"

We will all face hopeless situations in life, situations that have no immediate answer, direction will be faint, and the problem will feel like a mountain. Do you have the kind of faith in God to keep hoping when everything else is telling you not too?

Yes, NOW I do.

I am sick and tired of always just being a bystander. I hate living in regret, and its time to stop and do something about it.

Yesterday I was soo overwhelmed by things, and I hate that those things always seem to come when things finally start to go right...then I took a little drive to the marina and God gave me a little gut check too...He's always been there, and never let me down before, why would he start now? If I call him father (which means a lot of things such as provider, comforter, protector, etc [so many names are tired into "father"]) why do I not have my trust in him, and why is it that I'm loosing faith in him!? Today I take up my "Today faith" and although I dont know what He's doing (which I think thats the thing that scares me the most) at the moment its ok, cause I know He's my Dad, and I know He's not going to do anything that will hurt me.

Thanks P Ant your words yesterday hit me like a ton of bricks. You'll never know how much I appreciate it. I'll see you later today. Much love
